Interview: Jean on the Meaning of National Day

Jean (YU Jingying)

While down at Victoria Harbor for the National Day fireworks, I decided to get down to the bottom of what Chinese National Day is all about. Here’s our short interview with my classmate Jean, who comes to Hong Kong from mainland China. With a little prodding, Jean provides us with the insight we’re looking for to truly appreciate the wonder of this day off from school.

If you have other questions that you’d like to ask Jean, about China, about National Day, about ANYTHING, email your questions to DMXAA@UST.HK
