Snowman in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

April 15, 2009

During my February holiday on Borneo, I took Snowman out to see the sights of Kota Kinabalu.  As he did not have his dive card with him, the underwater fare was not included in his excursion:  enjoy the land sights of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia!

Kyle & Bessie Tire Swinging - Boulder, CO

To all my Seoul readers, you’ve got two new additions to your lovely city!  After a year of traveling South of the American border, Kyle & Bessie have landed in Asia.

Who/What/When/Where/Why/How – Please see their blog for details:  no point getting information second hand when you can redistribute it first hand.

If you’re on couch surfing – check them out here:  Couchsurfing Profile

Anyways, why is this exciting at all, besides being the 3rd continent of their travels?  Well, Kyle and I first met here in Hong Kong in 2003 and traveled together then, back in the day.  Now we’re both back in Asia – life’s exciting that way.

Will keep you posted on my upcoming trip to Seoul:  there’s supposedly a comfortable Yoga mat with my name on it.

Lent is Over

April 13, 2009

Having recently rediscovered my blog, and the list of things I’d planned to put on it, it appears that I had a very successful period of withdraw from  productivity during Lent.  That’s one more finger to put down during ye ole ‘Never Have I Ever’ game.

Easter’s over:  back to work!  Look forward to new posts soon, including…

Happy Easter Peeps!

April 13, 2009

FEETS!It’s Easter time, which means it’s time to roll out everyone’s favorite Easter time treat:  Peeps!  I was quite delighted the other day while shopping at Welcome when I saw a tower of Peeps stacked up near the checkout counter.  I grabbed a pack for a pre-easter snack later that day.

The underwhelming presence of Peeps and Peeps-paraphernalia was somewhat distressing, though.  How can one truly enjoy the Easter holiday without having the joy of atomic-yellow, marshmallow, sugar coated chicken treats to make you feel good about the world?  Well, China – there’s hope on the horizon.

I’ve created the first prototypes and packaging for FEETS!  Perfect for the Chinese market, one can now enjoy the Easter holiday with some delicious, sugar-coated, atomic yellow, marshmallow chickens’ feet!  The holiday will never be the same.

FEETS!  Ask for them wherever Easter treats are sold.
