Hong Kong Street Art – Part 1

Recently I’ve seen an uptick in cool street art around the city. Hong Kong is one of the last places I think of as having a thriving art community, despite the number of art galleries – a fact that I justify based on the amount of disposable income available to buy and rent art in this town. One issue is promotion of local art, which can often be done either in Chinese only, or is just not marketed widely enough for it to overcome our attention spans for all the other things to see and do in this vi rant city. Regardless of the reasons for its past, I’m glad to see some sprouts of creativity, starting with the graffiti and stencil art.

Enjoy!
